A Polish partner for furniture projects made in Indonesia
Indoconnect was created to show the potential of Indonesia – not as another low-cost place to manufacture, but as a place where hands-on expertise and a properly prepared process translate into the value of the finished product.
Why Indonesia
Indonesia is one of the world’s most important centres of wooden furniture production, with a long tradition of working with the material and a broad manufacturing base – from specialised workshops to producers equipped to handle the largest export orders.
The strength of the place is above all its knowledge of the material: selecting, drying, machining and finishing it. Alongside wood, competences in aluminium, weaving, stone, ceramics and combined materials are developing here too.
We present that potential without exotic shortcuts – as a credible place of production for European brands and projects.
So we do not start with the question of what can be bought in Indonesia, but of what your project needs.
Knowing the place matters
The greater the distance between the factory and the place of delivery, the more risk rests with the buyer – unless someone takes it on earlier.
Indoconnect is built on the experience of people who know Indonesian manufacturing first hand – from the material, quality control and day-to-day work with producers.
The team

Paweł Marczak
Founder
He lived and worked in Indonesia for eight years, from 2010 to 2019. He ran a company there, managed local teams and sailed the waters of the archipelago. He has kept doing business with Indonesia to this day.
Between 2011 and 2014 he supervised the construction of a 53-metre wooden phinisi sailing ship – more than three years of daily work with Indonesian builders, checking materials and keeping the schedule on site gave him an inside view of how wood production is run there.
That experience became one of the foundations of indoconnect: knowing the Indonesian manufacturing environment and the people who can turn a design into a finished product.

Sushindarton (Sus)
Coordination and quality control, Indonesia
Over thirty years in Indonesian furniture manufacturing – from the finishing station, through quality control, to running an entire in-country operation. For most of his career he was responsible for exactly what he does for indoconnect today: making sure the furniture leaving Indonesian factories meets the standards of a Western buyer.
He knows the manufacturers in Jepara, Semarang and Klaten from the inside – the regions that most furniture exported from Java comes from. He first worked with Paweł in 2012.
For the last four years he has been responsible for quality assurance in production for a North American furniture brand. That is a wider remit than inspecting the finished product – it covers the process, the documentation and compliance with the buyer’s requirements, including data on the origin of the raw material and the documents needed to import into the European Union.

Szymon Gruszka
Client relations and order handling
He has worked in sales, management and client relations for over 15 years. He has run sales, training and advisory projects in more than 20 countries on three continents, gaining experience with clients and teams from different markets and business cultures.
Over the years he was responsible for building and growing large sales structures and delivering multi-million sales. He specialises in negotiation, managing sales teams and building long-term business relationships.
At indoconnect he is responsible for working directly with clients and handling the order process – from identifying needs and settling product details to coordinating delivery with the team in Indonesia.
How we reduce your risk
Only one thing counts – that your order is delivered as agreed. That is why at indoconnect:
You settle with a Polish company
The contract and the invoice come from indoconnect, and the cooperation stays within the EU legal framework.
We control production on site
We check the order against the specification in Indonesia, before the goods go into the container. A problem found before loading can still be solved. The same problem found after delivery means extra transport, time and cost.
We take on the importer’s obligations
You do not import the goods, clear them through customs or answer for the import documentation. You buy furniture delivered to your door.
We put the timber’s origin in order
From 30 December 2026, timber and timber products placed on the European Union market must have documented origin. This is required by the EUDR – the regulation on deforestation-free products.
We provide the complete data, including geolocation of the raw material and the due diligence statement.
From sourcing to representing a brand
Our work with Indonesian manufacturers does not stop at finding a product and arranging its transport. Over time, running further projects also led us to work with a brand whose potential we decided to develop on the European market.
In Poland and the Czech Republic we are the exclusive distributor of Otazen – a manufacturer of premium outdoor teak furniture, aimed above all at the hospitality sector and residential projects.
Otazen is more to us than one of the brands in the range. It is a practical example of how the model behind indoconnect works: from knowing the manufacturer and the production process in Indonesia, through quality control and logistics, to introducing the brand on a new market.
The range of possibilities in practice
Selected furniture typologies and applications – from lounge areas and terraces to hotel and hospitality spaces.
We do not open a cooperation by presenting a catalogue of manufacturers. First we get to know the client’s project, its requirements and its scale. Only then do we choose the manufacturer, the materials and the way the order will be delivered.
Describe the project. We will take care of the rest.
We reply to enquiries within 2 business days.
